Zelenodolsk plant in Tatarstan has completed an order for the construction of two frigates of Project 3.9 "Cheetah" (Project 11661) for the Vietnamese Navy, told RIA Novosti on Tuesday, the official representative of the company Rafis Fatykhov. Designed by the Zelenodolsk Design Bureau and assembled at the A.M. Gorky Zelenodolsk shipbuilding plant, the Serpukhov arrived at Sevastopol last November and had the St. Andrew’s Flag raised on it the following month.
